How to use a *.jpg's format mask
A PSP9 tutorial, by PrettyJu
Some of you asked me how to make a top border like I made
in my preview
and others asked me how to use a mask in jpg format.
So I wrote a tutorial to answer both questions.
In PSP, open the .jpg's mask and minimise.
Open a new canva 1024x300 (or the height you want).
Fill
the canva with a pattern of your choice you get this:
Go to: Layers - New Mask Layer - From
Image...
Find YourMask.jpg:
Then, go to Layers - Merge - Merge Group.
Layers - New Raster Layer...
Fill this new raster with a colour (or pattern) of you choice.
Layers - Arrange - Move Down:
In the layer palette, active your top layer (group-raster)
by cliking to highlight the layer:
Effects - 3D effects - Drop Shadow...
(I used this settings, but you can use your own!)
Layers - Merge - Merge All (Flatten):
I hope this tutorial help you!
